Little Rock’s, The Easys make music that is hard not to like. Genuine, skilled, and with enough worthy melodies to keep you listening. Here's their second release, Blood Capsule.
Recorded in bunches over the past year & a half, Blood Capsule, certainly doesn’t come across as a pastiche. Rather, it builds with the opening piano strains of “Bitter Dreams” and concludes with the Wilco-esque, sunniness of “Dandelions”. Along the way, guitarist Charles Wyrick traipses effected lines around Isaac Alexander’s plaintive vocals. All in all, it amounts to a very winning effort.
